Veteran’s Day Discounts & Freebies

There are many places that are honoring veterans today.  These were forwarded to us by our local VA Department.  If you are an armed forces veteran, or have a veteran in your family, share these opportunities for discounts and free meals!  Thanks again for your service!veteransday

7-11 Convenience Stores
Free small slurpee for all vets, military, and immediate family members.  11am – 7pm

Applebee’s – Tuesday Nov 11th, free meal.  There are 7 entrées to choose from, beverage and gratuity not included. Military ID or proof of service required. Find locations at http://applebees.com/.

California Pizza Kitchen –Enjoy any pizza and non-alcoholic beverage on the menu for free both Tues Nov 11th and Tuesday Nov 12th. Must bring proof of service.

Chili’s –Tues Nov 11th, free meal. Choice of one of 7 meals beverages and gratuity not included.  Veterans and active duty military simply show proof of military service. Check with your local Chili’s to be sure they are participating.

Denny’s Veterans Day Appreciation Event– Tues Nov 11th.  Free all you can eat pancakes from 6am – 2pm active, retirees, and veterans with a valid military ID or proof of military service.

Famous Dave’s– Tues Nov 11th, free one meat, one side, and corn muffin.  11am – 4:30pm.  Doesn’t include beverage, dessert or appetizer. http://www.famousdaves.com/veterans-day-2014

Hooters– All day on Veterans Day free meals for all veterans and active duty military personnel. Free meal up to $10.99 in value. Offer valid at participating Hooters only.

Krispy Kreme – Get a free doughnut!   Offer available to all active-duty, retirees & veterans on Monday November 11th. Be sure to call ahead to verify your local Krispy Kreme is participating.

Little Caesar’s –Tuesday, November 11th. Free Crazy Bread® with proof of military status or proof of service at participating stores nationwide. Call ahead to verify participation.

McCormick & Schmick’s – Sunday, Nov 9th, free dinner or lunch.  Must provide proof of military service. Be sure to contact your local McCormick & Schmick’s as this is valid at participating restaurants only.  Reservations are highly recommended.  No to-go orders permitted.

McDonalds– Free Breakfast items and coffee with ID on Tues November 11th.

The Olive Garden– Tues Nov 11th. Offer good for veterans and active duty military. Choose from a special menu, all including salad or soup and breadsticks.

Outback– Nov 11th, free Bloomin’ Onion and a beverage.  Also enjoy 15% of every check Nov 12th –Dec 31st. Must show proof of Vet status.

Red Robin– Free Red Tavern Double Burger and Bottomless Steak Fries on Tues Nov 11th. Also sign up for special Veteran discounts all year in their discount club.  Check with your local Red Robin to be sure they are participating.

Shoneys –Free All American Burger.  Tues Nov 11th.

Starbucks –free coffee on Tues Nov 11th.  All vets, active duty, and spouses.  Check with your local Starbucks to be sure they are participating.

Subway – Tues Nov 11th, Free Six Inch Sub,. Select SUBWAY® Restaurants will offer a FREE six inch sub or flatbread. Military ID or proof of service required.  Please call ahead to be sure your local Subway is participating.

  • Amazon.com– TONS of discounts, Free MP3 album download on Veterans Day called “Veterans Day Honor”.  This album has 12 songs by military bands.
  • Bed Bath and Beyond– 20% of entire purchase Nov 9, 10, and 11.
  • Home Depot -10% off of all purchases up to $500. All home depots, year round.
  • JoAnne Fabric and Crafts –Nov 9-11.  20% off of all purchases to Vets and active duty members.
  • Lowes– 10% off all purchase during Veterans Day weekend and on Veterans Day.
  • Macy’s–  Print a 15% and 10% coupon to use Nov 8-12 at Macy’s over and over!
  • National Parks– On Veteran’s day, Nov 11th veterans will have access to over 100 National Parks that require entrance fees for free.
