FOUNDATIONAL TEXTS

  1. Psalm 100:1-3
  2. Isaiah 53:6

INTRODUCTION

  1. Genesis 1:1
    1. In the physical realm, we are God’s people; consequently, we understand and operate by the 5 physical senses.
    2. In the spirit realm, we are characterized as God’s sheep; and as sheep, we have a tendency to forget [not retain supernatural principles and stray back to operating by the physical senses].
    3. You become successful in the realm of the spirit by renewing your mind with the word of God (not trying to simply remember the word of God).
  2. St. John 10:1-9
    1. As sheep, we received a status change in the spiritual realm.
    2. Sheep that has lost focus of the supernatural aspect of their existence are subjected to misuse, danger, and even death (spiritually and naturally).
    3. After salvation, there is a developmental phase or process to release Kingdom realities into your life.
  3. Colossian 1:12-17
    1. Everything the believer need to be successful in life has already been prepared in the spiritual realm.
    2. Acquiring spiritual knowledge to make transferences from the spiritual realm to the natural realm requires skillfulness and competency in the Word.

  1.          I.            Salvation brings us into the reality of the Kingdom.
    1. Acts 4:12
    2. St. John 14:6
    3. Acts 16:31
    4. Psalm 119:18-19
      1. All spiritual realities are in the word of God.
  2.         II.            The light of the word of God changes the core or the root of man.
    1. Acts 9:1-7
      1. God changes the root of Saul.
      2. When you change the root, you change the fruit that is produced.
      3. When your root has changed you will acknowledge an awareness of a greater power and exhibit a willingness and readiness to serve [in His vineyard].  (verses 5-6)
  3.       III.            The process of winning the soul through the grafting of the word of God.
    1. James 1:21
      1. To release the power of the word of God in your life, the Word must become grafted in the core of the believer.
      2. Proverbs 11:25-30 [Emphasis verses 28, 30]; Proverbs 11:28, The Amplified Bible
        1. The mouth speaks what the soul thinks (or what is in the mind).  In other words, your generosity proceeds how you think.  (verse 25)
        2. What happens in the soul translates or transfers into the natural realm.
        3. When the soul connects with the spirit, supernatural results and progress can be made in the spiritual realm manifesting itself in the natural realm.
        4. Church attendance and the continuous hearing of the Word are designed to gain access to and transform the soul or the core [root system] of man.  In other words, how a man think is based on his root system.   (verse 30)
      3. Jeremiah 17:9-11
        1. If your root never changes, you will live an unfruitful life – never fulfilling your purpose or potential.  (verse 11)
        2. The promises of God will not manifest in your life until your mind changes.
      4. II Corinthians 5:17 (KJV &The Amplified Bible)
      5. St. Mark 16:16-17
        1. If the soul has not been properly converted it will impact how and what you believe.
        2. More signs and results will follow in your life when the graft of the word of God has impacted your core or belief system.
        3. Like the world wins your soul through advertisements, the continuous hearing of the word of God changes the core of a man.
      6. St. John 15:1-8, The Amplified Bible
      7. Galatians 4:19
        1. The process of grafting the word of God in you is like the process of a woman travailing in child birth.
        2. The objective of the church is “to form” Christ in us; consequently, we have what we say (supernatural results).
