FOUDATIONAL TEXTS

    1. It has been said that sheep are forgetful and as a matter of consequence cannot be trained.
    2. We often behave like sheep concerning Kingdom realities.
  2. B.       Isaiah 53:6
    1. We have been saved into the Kingdom of Heaven [experience] enjoying Kingdom realities and benefits while residing in the earth.
    2. Both the natural and supernatural realms must be understood to be successful in life.
    3. We are spiritual creatures living a natural experience.  The word of God shows us how spiritual realities function.
    4. Authority comes through the application of spiritual knowledge.

  1.          I.            The engrafted Word is only for believers.
    1. James 1:1-2
    2. James 1:21
      1. The engrafted Word is an analogy or metaphor for those who have become believers in the Word.
      2. The engrafted Word, further, is the voice of God in the believer’s human spirit.
      3. The Word only works for those in the family of God, not the lost.
      4. In other words, saved means that there is a Word from God that governs you (the word of God lives on the inside of you).
    3. The engrafted Word means there is a specific definite Word from God for you; and as circumstances in life changes, the Word in your spirit will change.
      1. Proverbs 20:27
        1. God’s illuminates the spirit of man so there is a revelation of Him on the inside of you.
        2. Romans 12:1-2
          1. You are saved in your spirit not your soul.  In other words, salvation is for the spirit not the body or mind.
          2. Your soul is the way you think, your deliberator, where you make decisions.
          3. The body and mind want to go astray [like sheep].
          4. Proverbs 23:7
            1. Before God can influence your heart, He must change how you think.  This is the process of winning your soul.
            2. Proverbs 11:30
              1. God wins the soul by placing His voice in your thoughts.
              2. God places His voice in your thoughts by repetitious information [and subsequent behavior or performance].
              3. God trains by His word.  Our objective is to become Word walkers.
  2.         II.            Your “teacher “will be right there.
    1. Isaiah 30:20-21, KJV & MSG
      1. When the engrafted Word is on the inside of you, life’s difficulties will not separate you from your teacher [which is the Holy Spirit].
        1. Adversity comes because there is a devil.
        2. Adversity is a part of the human experience.
          1. I Corinthians 10:13
          2. Romans 2:4
            1. God is good.  He never tempts man with evil.
            2. God forbears and is long-suffering.
            3. It’s the goodness of God that leads one to change.
            4. There’s a Word on the inside of you guiding you in the right direction.  You will know exactly what to do in any situation or decision.
            5. You know you are saved when you cannot sin without consciousness.
            6. You are no longer bound with the “teacher” right there.
    2. St. John 16:13
      1. The engrafted Word living in you will give you revelation on every decision in life.
      2. The forgetful part of the believer (the soul) is now saved.   The teacher in your soul acts as your guide and remembrance.
    3. I Peter 2:25
      1. Every saved person will have a shepherd and a bishop living on the inside giving you confirmation.
      2. The Holy Spirit acts as a shepherd and bishop of your soul.  You know what to do in every situation.
      3. The inward voice of the Holy Spirit will register a complaint in your spirit when “something” is off (like the wrong mate, job, car or home).
    4. I John 2:20, KJV & AMP
      1. You nullify mistakes when you know how to listen to His voice.
      2. God has a voice and Satan has a voice.  We must immerse ourselves in the Word to know God’s voice.
      3. Do not override the voice of God which is amplified by the peace of God.
