Biblical Numerics II

(The Numeral 2)

THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE WORD FROM GOD’S PERSPECTIVE

  1. Psalm 119:1-28
    1. The word of God is the medium of exchange that God uses to speak to us.  If you are not in the Word, God does not have a means to talk to you.
    2. The word of God is referenced in Psalm 119 as the law of the Lord, testimony, ways, precepts, statues, commandments and judgments.
    3. Life is in the word of God.

REVIEW

  1. God uses numbers to establish certain [biblical] truths for the believer that are not revealed to the enemy.
  2. Numbers defined…provide order (the methodical arrangement of things; how things are supposed to operate); numbers designate priority, rank, significance, importance
  3. Bible numerics is the study of God’s order, rank, priority and significance.
  4. Numbers establish beginning, middle and end, arrangements; numbers establish process and progress  – St. Mark 4:20; 26-28
  5. Numbers tell the story
    1. Numbers give a sense of timing.  Chronically late people do not respect time, money or other people.
    2. Numbers carry a message.  Chronological age means something to people when choosing relationships.  Certain ages also carry different meanings at various stages in life.
    3. Numbers are even significant in your giving.
    4. Numbers mean something in the human body.
    5. Numbers give significance as in the amount of debt you are carrying.
    6. Employers give you a number (time) to solve a problem for which you are compensated.
    7. The details are in the numbers.
