  1. The significance of the Bible
    1. No human would have contrived a standard (s) as high as the word of God.
      1. No husband would have written to love your wife like Christ loves the Church (Ephesians 5).
      2. No wife would have written to obey your husband (Ephesians 5).
      3. No teenager would have written that foolishness is bound… (Proverbs 22:15).
      4. No rich man would have admitted that if he who trust in his riches shall fall (Proverbs 11:28).
      5. Standards validate God wrote the Book.
    2. The changes that occur from embracing the Bible verify God is the author and the Bible is a supernatural book.
      1. Drug addicts and alcoholics are delivered; perversions are changed; the un-submitted becomes submitted; non givers become givers.
    3. The very presence of the Bible changes atmospheres.
      1. The magnetism of the word of God is indescribable, irrefutable and unforgettable.
    4. The word of God is a master weapon provided to us by the Father to escape satanic strategies and snares.
      1. St. Matthew 4:11
      2. The word of God will solve every problem in the earth.
    5. The word of God is your handbook for success.  (Scripture reference – Joshua 1:6-8)

    1. The word of God is the wisdom of God.
      1. St. Mark 4:24, KJV & AMP
        1. Your ears are the entrance into your spirit.  Whatever you hear in abundance will be produced out of your spirit.  In other words, protect what you are hearing.
        2. The promises of God will manifest based on the measure of thought and study you give to the word of God.
      2. Deuteronomy 4:6
        1. Embracing the word of God makes you wise (you will appear to know the future).
        2. The word of God prepares you for the future.   (Scripture reference Isaiah 46:9-10)
      3. II Peter 3:15
        1. Wisdom, discernment, and understanding are underwritten in the word of God.
      4. Proverbs 2:6
        1. You will hear more of God’s wisdom when you develop a pattern of obeying the wisdom of God.
    2. The word of God is God’s expression of love (the love of God).
      1. When you understand the love of God, you will also understand grace and mercy.
      2. God’s love encompasses His grace and mercy.
      3. I John 3:16
        1. The test of love is the willingness to lay down your preferences for another.
        2. Following leadership is a test of love.
        3. Love is also tolerance.
      4. I John 4:7-8

    3. The word of God is God’s book of order.
      1. Order – the methodical arrangement of things; how things are supposed to operate.
      2. I Chronicles 12:33, KJV & AMP

      4. I Kings 18:33
        1. The anointing follows order.
      5. Genesis 22:9
        1. A life out of order is a life without the word of God.
        2. A life in order is a life lived according to the scriptures.

      1. The creation of Adam and Eve (Genesis 1:26-27; 2:7; 2:21-22)
      2. The institution of marriage (Genesis 2:23-25)
      3. The fall of man (Genesis 3:6)
      4. The promise of the redeemer (Genesis 3:15)
      5. The universal flood (flood of Noah) (Genesis 6-8)
      6. The institution of human government (Genesis 9:1-8)
