On behalf of Pastor & Mrs. Matthews and the New Life Interfaith Ministries family, congratulations on the birth of your new child! We are thankful to God for His gift to you.
What is a Baby Dedication Ceremony? It is a ceremony in which believing parents make a commitment before the Lord to submit a child to God’s will and to raise that child according to God’s Word and God’s ways. Christian parents who dedicate a child are making a promise to the Lord to do everything within their power to raise the child in a godly way, prayerfully until he or she can make a decision on his or her own to follow God. Parents who make this vow of commitment are instructed to raise their child in the ways of God, and not according to their own ways.
Below are guidelines for the upcoming Baby Dedication Ceremony. Please remember to complete the Baby Dedication Registration on this page, which includes the information necessary for processing the certificate for your child. You must complete the registration form in order to participate. The deadline for submission is November 18, 2018. To commemorate this sacred occasion, immediately following the services, we ask you to assemble in the Green Room (located inside the Fellowship Commons) to have a photo made with Pastors George & Judith Matthews.

Don’t you see that children are God’s best gift?
The fruit of the womb His generous legacy?
Like a warrior’s fistful of arrows
are the children of a vigorous youth.
Oh, how blessed are you parents,
with your quivers full of children!
Your enemies don’t stand a chance against you;
you’ll sweep them right off your doorstep.
Psalm 127:3-5 (Message)
