January Jubilee Fasting Guidelines

Understanding New Testament Fasting
According to Ephesians 1:3, the New Testament believer is already “blessed” through Jesus Christ with all things.

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.

Faith in the New Testament is directionally centered on receiving all God has done for us through the Cross.
Colossians 2:10-17, plainly shows us that all hindrances of the believer have been “taken out of the way”, because of the blood of Jesus.

10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: 11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: 12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. 13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; 14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; 15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. 16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: 17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

Therefore, we do not fast to appease God or encourage His positive response in our lives¾ He has provided all we will ever need in life through Jesus!
Fasting helps a believer to “tune in” to by faith, God’s spiritual frequency so that the Holy Spirit can, without hesitation or restriction, download clear revelation to him.  This revelation will be that which is born from above (heavenly places), which can sometimes become a true conflict to the natural man and his human way of reasoning, thought and perception.

“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.”
I John 5:4

Please rest in and receive through the Apostle John’s writing from 1 John 4:4 (Amplified):

4 Little children (believers, dear ones), you are of God and you belong to Him and have [already] overcome [defeated] them [the agents of the antichrist]; because He Who is in you is greater (mightier) than he (Satan) who is in the world.
