The Integrity of the Word II
(God’s Words – God’s Integrity)
OPENING OBSERVATIONS
- You cannot separate God from His word.
- We will begin to have boldness and confidence in the Word when we understand that God’s power is in His word.
FOUNDATIONAL TEXTS
- James 1:22
- You are responsible for hearing the Word and doing the Word.
- I Thessalonians 5:23
- Man is a three part being.
- Your spirit is the real you where either God or Satan tabernacles.
- The spirit needs the 5 physical senses to have contact in the natural realm.
- Your spirit understands that you should be just like Jesus. (Scripture reference – I John 4:17b)
- If you hear the Word without doing the Word, your spirit can be deceived by the body and soul into thinking you are not supposed to be just like Jesus.
- It’s the believer’s responsibility to “build up” your true self so that you begin to dictate to the body and soul.
- Jude 20 (KJV & The Amplified Bible)
- Romans 2:13
