FOUNDATIONAL TEXTS
- A. Psalm 100:1-3
- In the realm of the natural, we are God’s people.
- In the pasture of God (the realm of the supernatural, the realm of miracles) we are as sheep.
- B. Isaiah 53:6
- It has been said that sheep are forgetful animals that have either no memory or short-term memory; consequently, sheep cannot be trained.
- Because sheep have a tendency to forget they are supernatural beings, the word of God must become engrafted in them.
- I. Forgetfulness cancels the supernatural ability of God.

- Definitions
- Engrafted…inborn, implanted by nature, implanted by the instructions of others
- Word…
- The message of God (or the word of God) comes in 2 ways:
- Logos – the Bible or the written Word (believers will not grow until we begin to study the Word)
- Rhema – the spoken or inspired word of God
- The divine expression (Christ Himself is speaking inside of you)
- Mouth, preaching, saying, speech, talk, utterance, uttered by a living voice, embodying a concept or idea, the sayings of God
- The Bible is the word of God but the Bible is not all God has to say.
- The message of God (or the word of God) comes in 2 ways:
- Judging the message of God by the barometer of peace
- Isaiah 46:9-11
- Whether God speaks a logos or a rhema Word, His message is about the future [not the present].
- The Bible will not tell you who and when to marry, when and where to set up a business, what house or car to buy, or even which relationships to pursue or to sever. The accuracy and success of your life depends on the ability to hear a specific message from God in your spirit.
- Success means you are able to make consistent, balanced, and wise decisions.
- Colossians 3:15, KJV&The Amplified Bible
- The message you receive in your spirit from God should bring peace.
