God’s Best Comes through Giving IV

(Prosperity is Agreeing with God through the Principle of Giving)



  1. A.      III John 1-2 (KJV & The Amplified Bible)
    1. You will “keep well” or maintain wellness based on the Word you are hearing and speaking.
  2. B.       Psalm 84:11(KJV & The Amplified Bible)
    1. Uprightly is honoring God’s system which will bring you to a place of prosperity.
    2. God has already made a provision for all your needs.  In other words, God has a way of “doing”…healing, promotion, relationships.  (Scripture reference – St. Matthew 6:31-33, KJV & The Amplified Bible)
    3. Our compliance is called righteousness.
  3. C.       Joshua 1:6-8
    1. It takes courage to do things God’s way.
    2. Prosperity is God’s idea.



  1. Prosperity defined…living a fulfilled life with all emotional, physical, financial, relational and spiritual needs met in abundance.

      1. A fulfilled life is not just receiving a paycheck, but fulfilling your divine purpose in life.
      2. On the road to fulfillment is a season of training and transition.


  1.          I.            Prosperity is agreeing with God through the principle of giving.
    1. Principle defined…
      1. A principle is an established truth that defines God’s order, reactions, and responses.
      2. Principles are truths by which God can be counted on to perform regardless of situations, circumstances, and conditions.
        1. Principles make God predictable.  (Examples: The life of Job; Israel in Exodus 3)
        2. Tests and afflictions come to see if you will sacrifice God’s principle to escape your present pain.
        3. Principles are also precepts.
    2. Four principles that must be honored if you are to continue to agree with God through giving:
      1. Exercising or practicing the principle (You must practice a willingness to be obedient).
        1. a.       Isaiah 1:18-20
        2. b.       Psalm 119:104
        3. c.        Psalm 119:159
        4. d.       Psalm 119:173
        5. e.       Isaiah 28:10
        6. There must be expectations (having an outstretched neck).
          1. Isaiah 55:8
          2. God’s people will either be people of expectations (having an out stretched neck) or they will become stiff-necked.
            1. Stiff-necked defined…hard, cruel, severe, obstinate, difficult, fierce, intense, vehement, and stubborn; a battle going on.
            2. Exodus 32:9
            3. Deuteronomy 9:6
