Matthew 5:14 – Be The Light!

SNAP benefits may have stopped but that doesn’t stop God or His people!  Donate monetarily or by sending canned goods (in good condition), nonperishable items, or paper goods all week at the COE from 7am – 5:30pm.

In times of hardship, we are called to be the hands and feet of Christ — to lift one another up in love and compassion. Many families today are struggling to put food on the table, and the SNAP Benefits Relief Fund provides a lifeline of hope and nourishment. Your gift can help ensure that no child goes to bed hungry andno parent has to choose between paying bills and buying groceries. As Proverbs 19:17 reminds us, “Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed.” When we give, we are not only meeting a physical need — we are sowing seeds of grace, dignity, and faith in our communities.

Jesus said in Matthew 25:35, “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat.” Each act of giving, no matter how small, echoes this divine call to compassion. Your donation to the SNAP Benefits Relief Fund is more than charity — it is a ministry of love, a reflection of Christ’s heart for the vulnerable. Together, we can bring comfort to our neighbors and remind them that they are not forgotten. Let us give joyfully, knowing that through our generosity, God’s abundance flows to those who need it most.
